The SIG8 screen and enclosure pairs beautifully with the SkyTrak. Built tough, the SIG8 screen can withstand the hardest of golf shots time after time. Unlike skytrak sig10 golf simulator review other screen systems, we designed the SIG8 so that it can fit within compact spaces with as little as 9’W. Due to the squareness of the screen, the image will fill in 80% of the screen – there will be some white space above and below the image.

Basic driving range & game improvement modules operate as normal on PC or Android – however full golf course play via SkyTrak WGT software is not supported.

SIG8 Enclosure Specifications and Space Requirements
Generally speaking, the SIG8 Enclosure is able to fit into most spaces.

Make sure you can swing your club comfortably in your desired space, as you may need more than 9′ high ceilings if your swing requires it. You can always place your setup in a space that is larger than the recommended space requirements.
Assembly
The resources below will walk you through the assembly portion of your new frame and screen. Using the color coded pipe kit and connectors, set up your frame first then attach your black surround, impact screen, foam padding, and side barrier netting.

It’s great that you can reclaim the space with the Homecourse Pro Screen. I installed it just right above the garage door, but it ended up too short, with about 1 foot gap below. To clear the garage door, I installed it at 8’4″ above finish floor to the bottom screen housing. Based on the manual, installing it between 8′ and 9′ should have been okay, but now I’ll need to look some sort of platform below so that the screen is resting correctly. Other than that, I know I’ll enjoy having this setup, pairing this screen with Skytrak will provide much more practice time at home.

One of the most impressive things about the SkyTrak home golf simulator is its accuracy. As you can see in the video all you have to do is place the ball on the little red light. The simulator uses advanced technology to accurately track your ball flight, providing you with a precise picture of your shot’s trajectory, spin, and speed. This level of accuracy is unmatched by other home golf simulators, and it makes the SkyTrak an excellent choice for serious golfers who want to improve their game. Out of other simulators I’ve tried like the mevo + and the garmin the SkyTrak is my favorite for an indoor simulator. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with a limited amount of space indoors!!

Everything works well other than the skytrak unit itself. It is consistently unreliable. It goes into almost a sleep mode and won’t read at all. Small chip shots won’t read 15-20 times in a row regardless of ball location. Then you will drag your shoelace across the laser and it’ll read a 90 yard hit. The additional software needed to play courses is fairly pricey but definitely makes for a cooler experience. Personally, I would go with a different sim all together. The laser dot on the floor makes for a pain if you are playing a round. You have to move the machine from tee shots to fairway shots so the tee isn’t in the way (I ended up buying rubber cone tees to prevent from doing this).

Product is very good. Set up complicated as parts come in at various times, over 40 days to get everything, then there are no overall set up instructions. A UTube would be very helpful.

This is a well-made product and, overall, I’m pleased. I do have a few suggestions for improvement. #1 – Look at the photo and you see the screen, the projector, landing mat, SkyTrak launcher, and hitting mat, all neatly lined up on center. There is no way to use a long club (driver, 3 wood) with the package set up as per photo and still stand on the mat. The actual set up will be different than shown. In order to use a long club, the launcher needs to be set up very close to, if not off the edge of the hitting mat. I would also argue that the space actually required to use all clubs in a set is larger than what is shown in the literature. #2 – The instructions for setting up the enclosure could be better than the rough dimensions shown in the literature. e.g. 100″ from what to what? Inside, middle or outside of the poles? Makes a BIG difference (answer = outside). I erected it myself, but 4 hands would have been a lot easier.

SIG IS GREAT – SKYTRAK…NOT SO MUCH
SIG website & customer reps were great – my purchase was a 40th wedding anniversary for hubby but I don’t play golf, so they walked me through everything I needed & answered all my questions. But SkyTrak has been a nightmare!! The software is glitchy, WGT does NOT work 90%of the time & kicks you out of solo play to multiplayer (which hubby has zero interest in). SkyTrak’s “solution” was to tell me to uninstall & reinstall all software (which I did – only worked for a few minutes). This is NOT a solution!! Wish I had purchased a different golf simulator. Every day its 2 hours of trying to get everything to work so hubby can play 30 minutes.

VALUE THAT DELIVERS
The Skytrak Gold Ent. Package is a great value and a good set up. The projector is very good quality and has a good crisp image. I have hit into nets and used computer screen monitors for data in the past. Hitting into the Net Return Simulator screen is a game changer. I love it, the real feel and true action imagining is great. I can’t recommend the package enough.

GOOD BUT NOT PERFECT
Got this simulator package as a anniversary gift for my husband and I. We enjoy using it and get a lot of use out of it. The only difficult part is I’m right handed and he’s left handed. We knew that would make for a more difficult time playing game/rounds together. We make do but thats the only reason why I give it 4 stars.
