Srixon Golf ZX5 Irons (6 Iron Set)
Product Description
ZX5 combines pioneering ball speed technology with a premium forged feel and delivers all of it in a forgiving yet workable chassis that’s razor-sharp at address. Balanced and thoughtful, these irons are the best of all worlds Srixon Golf ZX5 Irons.
If you’re after irons with forgiveness where it counts, control when you need it, soft forged feel, and explosive distance, then ZX5 is your ultimate set.
Main Frame
A milled pattern on the backside of each ZX5 Iron face maximizes COR for more ball speed and more distance on every shot.
Progressive Grooves
Grooves in the 8i through PW are sharper, narrower, and deeper for more spin and stopping power on approach shots into the green.
Tour V.T. Sole
V-Shaped soles glide smoothly through turf, even if you strike slightly behind the ball. ZX5 Irons also feature the resurgence of our popular sole notches.
Multi-Piece Construction
Tungsten in the toe of ZX5’s long and mid irons (3i-7i) increases MOI for more stability and forgiveness. A forged SUP10 face enhances speed and distance while a forged 1020 Carbon Steel body absorbs vibrations for an extremely soft feel.

Senior golfer And ZX5 a perfect match
Wedge,9,8. Were allways easy. The seperation is I can hit the entire set wedge- 3 iron. A flush 3 iron at 66 is outrageous. For me 200 carry. Im back at the mens tees again

Great irons
I got fitted at my club and had an open mind to what clubs would fit my game the best. I had Titleist AP2’s previously. I hit many clubs but the Z5’s were the clear winner in terms of distance and accuracy. I feel I am able to come closer to the distances I used to enjoy with my old clubs. They are great out of the sand bunkers as well!! I highly endorse these clubs to golfers looking for distance, feel and accuracy.

Forgiving and long!!
I have been using Titleist irons since high school but used these on the launch monitor and tighten my spread and gained a club of distance. The long irons launch high and straight and the short irons spin and stop on the green.

First time using forged clubs
Using only cast forgiving clubs I was a little nervous about going forged but I am very happy mainly because the impact is softer and my distance have improved. Honestly I never even got close to hitting a 3 iron until now. I am 65 and my game has just went to a new level because I am hitting all my clubs——

Just What I Needed
After having my RAZR irons stolen a few years ago, I was playing some Taylormade RBZ irons. Finally, it was time to upgrade to some irons that would allow more precision that I was lacking. I did a blind fitting test to eliminate bias, and was really hoping for the P770’s. I use TM woods, putter, and wedges, so I thought that would be the one’s I would get. After the fitting, there was one clear winner. The ZX5’s. Second up was the ZX7’s, and forth were my desired p770’s. I think I even said “Srixon? Really?” I had never considered their products before. But, I came to the blind fitting to reduce brand bias, and for Srixon to take the top 2 spots was telling me something I didn’t know. After playing my first round of golf and driving range warm up, all I can say is that i’m in love with these. They swing so effortlessly and are incredibly accurate. I went with the modus pro tour 120 and oversized grips and love every swing. I almost kind of wish I would’ve mishit more shots so I could use them more (but i’m sure that will come). My first score at a course i’ve never played before was an 83 on a par 72, 7150 yds… A score i’ll gladly take any day.
