Designed to fit the eye of a more discerning player, P•770 shaping relies on visual cues such as a thinner topline, less offset and shorter blade length when compared to the P•790.
Forged Hollow Body Construction
These irons consist of a thin, wrap around forged 4140 steel face, soft carbon steel body and up to 46g of tungsten weighting designed to deliver explosive distance and forgiveness.
SpeedFoam™
An ultra-light urethane foam injected inside the head that’s engineered to push the design limits of face speed while simultaneously improving feel.

My husband bought them to compliment his Titleist clubs. He says they won‘t drive as far as the Titleists, but they will ensure a more accurate one. He loves them.

Sweet when you hit the sweet spot
I got these clubs about a month ago because I was looking for a players club that I could hit higher than my other clubs and have new face technology with little loss of workability while still being forgiving on slight mishits. Nicely done Taylormade!

P770 – Simply Amazing Irons
I’m a 10.7 and have been using Mizuno 919 Tour Irons for the last 5 years. I loved them but after swinging the P770 6/7 during a late summer fitting session. I ordered a set with custom length and lie. The problem is the custom 770s were taking a year to get and after waiting 6 months I decided to give the KBS C-Taper Lite 105 Regular P770 a try. The shaft is very close to the custom fitted KBS. Let me just say WOW these clubs are truly fantastic. Better than any iron I’ve played by a significant margin. It took five range/trackman sessions to get fully course comfortable with the clubs but I’m there now and the biggest difference is I’m absolutely confident in my shots for the first time EVER!

TaylorMade absolutely knocked it out of the park with this iron. Classic look of a blade but with distance and forgiveness. Cant say enough good things about these irons.

Awesome control and spin
Just finished finished my 5th round with them. These are my favorite clubs I have played. You will need to be a decent ball striker. If not stick with the 790’s. 770’s are not as long but offer better spin rates and control.
